Updated: Feb 25

If you’ve been looking for something fun to do in Dallas that isn’t a restaurant, club, bar, shopping trip, or just sitting around, we’ve got the perfect spot for you. Fritz Adventure in The Colony is the place to go if you’ve been craving some indoor excitement in the DFW area! Whether you’re hanging out with friends, spending time with family, or planning a fun team outing, Fritz Adventure brings the energy and adventure you’ve been looking for.

Fritz Adventure is a huge playground with over 100,000 square feet to explore. You’ll find ziplines, tunnels, slides, climbing walls, and so much more. It’s the ultimate destination for group activities, birthday parties, or even a unique field trip. For schools, it’s an awesome place to make learning hands-on and exciting!

Adventure Awaits

Now, let’s talk about some of the attractions you’ll definitely want to check out. One of the most popular is the Treetop Zipline, where you can climb from the top and see the whole park from above. Then there’s the Sky Trail Ropes Course, a multi-level challenge with a lot of different paths, rolling logs, and balance beams to test your skills.  If you’re still looking for something with a bit more  thrill, don’t miss the Extreme Slides — there are several of them, including one that’s a whopping 32 feet tall! There are other courses and adventures you can go on at Fritz but here a few that we really liked.

Ticket Pricing

When it comes to pricing, Fritz Adventure has several ticket options depending on the experience you’re looking for. All tickets include three hours of playtime, but if you want to stay longer, you can upgrade to an all-day pass for just $10 more.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Ages 0–4: Free

  • Park Entry: $19 (Monday–Thursday) / $25 (Friday–Sunday) — this covers general admission but does not include the multi-story ropes course, city wall rock climbing, or treetop zipline.

  • Limited Access Ticket: $35 (Monday–Thursday) / $40 (Friday–Sunday) — includes access to everything except the treetop zipline.

  • All Access Ticket: $49 (Monday–Thursday) / $55 (Friday–Sunday) — gives you full access to all attractions, including the treetop zipline.

One of the most special things about Fritz Adventure is how much they give back. They offer free admission to all foster and adopted youth aged 17 and under. This includes an all-day, all-access ticket — no time limits, just pure fun. It’s an amazing way for Fritz to support kids in the community and make sure everyone gets a chance to experience adventure.

Quick Bites & Snacks

After all that climbing, zipping, and exploring, you’ll be fairly hungry. Luckily Fritz has a cafe that has a plethora of food options. The menu is big, offering plenty of options for every craving. If you just want a quick bite, the Honey Chipotle Fries are a must-try at $7.49. For something heartier, grab the BBQ Chicken Pizza for $20.99 — it’s one of their crowd favorites. If you’re sharing with family or friends, you can’t go wrong with the Giant Pretzel ($11.49) or Loaded Nachos ($18.49). They also offer kids’ meals, sweet treats, sandwiches, coffee, shakes, and more, making it easy to find something for everyone.

The Final Verdict: Fritz Adventure

So, if you’re looking for a place that combines excitement, challenge, and fun for all ages, Fritz Adventure is absolutely worth checking out. From climbing and zipping through the air to sharing a meal at their café, there’s something for everyone here. Whether it’s a family outing, birthday celebration, or team-building event, you’ll leave with memories that will last long after your visit.
