Ruthie’s Cafe has just recently opened up towards the end of February 2025. Along with the cafe, they also have a food truck, which operates as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit under the Good Foundation with the main mission to spread kindness and purpose through their meals. Our favorites were the Ruthie’s Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Sandwich, Crazy Chicken Sandwich, and their Almond Butter & Banana Toast.

As bacon and sauce lovers, we have to admit that the Ruthie’s Crazy Chicken from the lunch menu completely stole the spotlight. The crispy bacon and perfectly toasted bread pair beautifully with the gooey, flavorful mix of chicken, cheese, and egg, all tied together with a zesty kick from their signature Crazy Sauce. It’s comfort food taken to the next level!

Ruthie’s doesn’t just serve up comfort food in their cafe; they also take their delicious creations on the road! The truck dishes out all your lunch favorites along with a few special items exclusive to the food truck menu, bringing sandwiches made with heart directly to the community. You can usually catch them revving up at local festivals and public events throughout the spring and summer months!

The cafe partners with local nonprofits like Unlocking Doors to help individuals successfully reintegrate into society. Through its Ruthie’s Fellows Program, the cafe gives those impacted by the legal system a second chance, offering meaningful jobs and vital skills, from culinary training to marketing and life lessons. It’s a thoughtful, inspiring effort. Plus, a portion of every purchase supports St. Philip’s School and Community Center, helping sustain their life-changing work.
