The Ultimate Dining Thai Experience: Thai Charm in Frisco, TX

The House of Great Food and Even Better Vibes

If you love Asian food and are looking for an elevated spot for a celebration, dinner, or even a date, look no further; this place will become one of your next go-to spots in the city. Thai Charm is a relatively new spot in Frisco that serves Thai cuisine with a modern, elevated twist. Their dishes are crafted with care and passion, and every plate feels intentional with every ingredient used.

This place is a whole vibe. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by beautiful ocean blue and gold details that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a luxury restaurant. But don’t worry, while it looks like a high-end experience, it doesn’t come with a heavy price tag. With dishes averaging between $20–$30, every dollar feels well spent, and honestly, it feels like you’re getting even more value than what you’re paying.

If you want to discover all the good things Thai Charm has to offer, keep reading. You’ll definitely want to plan your next date here.

The Vibe That Will Make You a Regular

Thai cuisine is absolutely amazing; well-seasoned dishes, fresh ingredients and spices, and flavors that everyone can enjoy. While we always love a traditional spot, this place keeps its authentic core while adding a modern touch, making it enjoyable for every palate.

With a full, beautiful bar, their drinks are on another level. Our favorite has to be the Thai Teatini, a stunning cocktail with the perfect balance of sweetness and alcohol that will keep you going back for another sip. But if you’re not in the mood for cocktails, they’ve got you covered with their signature mocktails. You have to try the Violet Bloom and Mango Paradise; they were absolutely delicious and, of course, beautiful. Perfect if you want cute drink pics.

Inside, you’ll find their signature royal blue tones that make you feel like you’re in a castle, paired with white marble tables and comfortable seating that will keep you there for hours. The service is also great; the staff is knowledgeable about everything they serve, making it easier for first-timers or anyone unfamiliar with Thai dishes. They’ll make sure to understand your taste and recommend the best options for you.

They’re located near The Lash Lounge in a plaza along the Dallas North Tollway, with plenty of parking available, so no stress about finding a spot (we always love easy, free parking).

What We Love About Their Menu

You know you’re at a good restaurant when the entire menu looks so appetizing that you have to check it online beforehand just to figure out what to order. That was us. With 50+ dishes, you’ll need multiple visits if you want to try everything they have to offer.

Let us tell you about our last experience: a curated selection recommended by one of the owners.

If you visit Thai Charm soon, make sure to start with their Thai Beef Jerky, the house favorite. Trust us when we say this is one of the best jerky we’ve ever had, and don’t skip the sauce, it takes the flavor to another level. We also loved their dumplings and Som Tum (Green Papaya Salad), both perfectly balanced and packed with flavor.

It was only right to continue with a soup, and for us, their Tom Yum Soup is one of the best we’ve had in the DFW area; we’re sure you’ll agree. The lemongrass flavor and spice create the perfect balance you didn’t know you needed. It’s a comforting dish that you can order in a small or large portion (we’d go for the large if we were you).

Now, for the entrées: think classic Thai dishes taken to the next level. We tried their popular Crispy Duck Kee Maw, Num-Tak Neua (a popular Northeastern Thai salad featuring grilled steak sliced and tossed with a tart dressing), and Sizzling Oceanic Basil; they did not disappoint. Be careful with the spice, though. Thai spice has that kick that lingers. We usually go for mild and add more spice if we feel like it.

It’s mandatory to end the meal with their Mango Sticky Rice, which honestly checked all the boxes for us: beautiful presentation, generous portion, perfectly sweet, creamy, and just overall incredible. Whoever came up with this dish deserves a crown. If you’ve never had mango sticky rice, do yourself a favor and try it; you’ll understand the hype, we promise.

Promotions and Specials

If you needed another reason to come, their happy hour and lunch specials make it even better.

Let’s start with happy hour, because yes, it’s that good. During weekdays from 3–6 PM, you can enjoy discounted drinks like $5 draft beers and hot sake, $6 wine, and cocktails in the $8–$10 range. And it’s not just drinks, they also have bites like spring rolls, gyoza, and even their Thai beef jerky at happy hour prices, so you can try a little bit of everything without going all in.

Now for lunch; perfect if you’re trying to get a high-quality meal without spending too much. Their lunch specials run Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM and include classic dishes like Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, curries, and fried rice, all at a great price and served with a side salad.

Do I need a Reservation?

While walk-ins are always welcome from Monday to Sunday, we highly encourage making a reservation on typically busy days like Fridays and Saturdays, especially during dinner time. It can get crowded, and you don’t want to miss out on the full experience.

The restaurant is medium-sized but can still accommodate a good number of guests. Plus, there’s a beautiful bar where you’ll get plenty of attention from their experienced bartenders; honestly, it might make you want to stay longer than planned.

You can make a reservation online through their website: https://www.thaicharmfrisco.com/ or using OpenTable: https://www.opentable.com/r/thai-charm-frisco.
